SUMMARY:Sun Day
DESCRIPTION:                                                          \nSun Day\, Third Act\, Third Act Wisconsin\, and Why “Open House” Solar Tours \n\n\nSun Day is a nation-wide set of actions\, peaking on September 21\, 2025\, celebrating and promoting solar and wind power\, and the movement to leave fossil fuels behind. \n\n\nThe national organization called Third Act\, led by Bill McKibben\, is a primary organizer of Sun Day. Third Act engages people 60+ years old in fostering the transition to renewable energy while protecting our democracy. \n\n\nThird Act Wisconsin (TAWI) is one of 34 state-level working groups within Third Act. \n\n\nOperating on the assumption that many Wisconsinites are curious but not well informed about solar\, I (a member of the TAWI team organizing Sun Day events in Wisconsin) am organizing open house tours of notable solar installations like yours in diverse places across Wisconsin\, anticipating that curious people will attend and learn. One way people can attend is by finding and then registering on the “Events” page of the Sun Day website.
