Description: Helios is a UW-Madison student organization that implements sustainable energy projects on campus to address the climate crisis and create a more livable future. Helios works with campus leaders to scope, plan, fund, and see energy efficiency projects to fruition; as well as develop technical projects to teach youth and the public about sustainable energy. Members gain grant writing, energy calculation, and technical engineering skills.

Mission: Our goal is to work with campus leaders and professionals to implement sustainability and renewable energy projects that will prepare our community for a future that runs on clean energy.
Vision: The Energy Team works closely with other sustainability partners to identify and fix inefficient infrastructure and improve energy use practices on campus. The Engineering Team works on technical projects that support and elevate the organization’s campus efforts, including education and outreach.
