Description: Wisconsin Clean Cities (WCC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 1994 under the auspices of the U.S. Department of Energy to help Wisconsinites transition to cleaner fuels and technology. We support Wisconsin’s energy and economic security by building partnerships to advance the adoption of affordable domestic transportation fuels, energy-efficient mobility systems, and other fuel-saving technologies and practices. These efforts reduce the nation’s dependence on imported oil, improve air quality, support local jobs, drive economic development, and promote an improved quality of life.
Mission: Wisconsin Clean Cities (WCC) is a member-supported, nonprofit organization that works to reduce emissions, encourage the use of alternative fuels and alternative fuel vehicles, and develop the refueling infrastructure necessary to sustain the industry. WCC is comprised of businesses, fuel providers, vehicle fleets, state and local government agencies, community organizations, and individuals. WCC and its members share information and resources, provide education, help craft public policy, and collaborate on projects that reduce petroleum use.
Vision: WCC supports the nation’s energy and economic security by building partnerships to advance affordable domestic transportation fuels, energy-efficient mobility systems, and other fuel-saving technologies and practices. These efforts reduce the nation’s dependence on imported oil, improve air quality, support local jobs, drive economic development, and promote an improved quality of life.
